The National Wildlife Federation 2015 photo contest, Second Place, Backyard Birds
We really enjoy the challenge of photographing nature, particularly bird photography. Our main catalog has over 266 different avaion species. Many of the photos were take right on our property near Hastings, Minnesota. We also enjoy traveling and discovering birds that are not common to the area in which we live.
We are both amateur photographers. Currently, we photograph using Canon 1D MarkIV cameras and lenses. For image processing we use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop on both a MacBook Pro and Windows PC.
Two or three times a year we update the photographs with new or different photos.
